Probably the last thing on your mind is search engines but if you want your content to be found you'll have to think about it. According to Google it is best to use 3 - 5 words in the slug of your permalink any more than this could be considered spammy and work against you in the rankings.
But here's the difficulty you also have to consider that you are primarily write for human being. Try to be descriptive in your URL, so that the reader has some idea what the content is before they click.

A study of 4,600 blogs and 1.2 million blog posts revealed some interesting opportunities when it comes to scheduling.
Blog posts get more shares over the weekend than any other day
The study also found interesting data about "what was the best time of the day to post and get the most shares". The best time to post was between 10:00AM - 18:00PM and that the number of social shares increased between 04:00AM -06:00AM and 21:00PM - 23:00PM in between these times sharing decreases.
